What’s the Story

Erik M:

Erik developed a severe under bite and we noticed several teeth growing in crooked in elementary school. He was only about 8 years old when treatment began, but he remembers feeling embarrassed of his smile at the time. Looking back at the pictures of when he first came to OE, he imagines how much differently he might feel about his appearance now if his teeth had gone untreated.

We were referred to Orthodontic Excellence by a family friend who works as a dental hygienist, and we chose their treatment plan because of the flexible billing options and our comfort level with the staff. Erik wore braces and headgear for about one year – the time seemed to go by very quickly. He has had to wear a retainer at night for the past couple years, but we are preparing for a second round of braces to provide the “finishing touches.” Our experience with OE has been very positive – we receive immediate answers to any questions or concerns we have about his hardware.

Erik is very happy with the results so far – he has straight teeth and a normal bite. He says the new smile gives him confidence and he would refer others to OE because the results will be “amazing.”
